Founder, CEO and CFO of Greener by Design, Richard grew up in the heart of New York City and has worked in all areas of the landscape industry; interior plants and orchids, floral design, as well as landscape design, installation and maintenance.

Richard is a Landscape Industry Certified Manager & Technician. Our CEO writes regular columns for The Pelham Weekly and The Landscaper. He has also written for PLANET advantage, PLANET news, and The New York Real Estate Journal. Emily Friedberg: Westchester Sales, HR

Emily brings years of experience with real estate management and office administration to our team. She makes sure all the T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted. Emily also handles Greener by Design’s Human Resources Department, and drives our Westchester Sales.

Kerry Sullivan: Operations Manager

Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, Kerry has an extensive background as a logistics supervisor. She also has a BS in Biology from Stony Brook, New York, and is a published former lab tech. Kerry is a member of our operations team, which handles all scheduling and assorted operational duties.

Kathleen O’Grady: Residential Maintenance Supervisor & NYC Sales

A California Native, Kathleen has a Master of Science Landscape Design, and 4 years of professional experience as a garden designer. After studying at Cornell, she went on to receive her New York State Master Gardener certification from Rockland County Cooperative Extension, and also an Association of Professional Landscape Designers from MetroHort. Kathleen is a member of our operations team, which handles all scheduling and assorted operational duties.

Josh Glick: Commercial Maintenance Supervisor & Trainer

Josh has a wealth of experience with interior and exterior landscaping, particularly in the commercial market. He is studying to be a teacher and so has moved into a new role as trainer to help develop those talents.
